Trinity Baptist Church is a family. We consider each other brothers and sisters in Christ. As a result, we are very interested in helping families learn to live together in their homes in ways that bring glory and honor to God. We seek to help husbands and wives understand their God-given roles within marriage. We also seek to help parents embrace their God-given responsibilities to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Single parents and single adults are also a vital part of our church family and are encouraged to meet their special challenges and use their special opportunities in submission to God's will. As a family, we seek to meet each other's needs, loving one another as Christ has loved us (John 13.34) and watching over one another in brotherly love (James 5.19-20).
We want our youth to think of themselves as the church, rather than just the youth group. Each Sunday and Wednesday, we provide challenging Bible study and periodic special activities, all of which are geared to encourage serious devotion to Jesus Christ. Through all of this young people are not merely entertained but called to be real disciples.
We believe that before God, parents have the primary responsibility for the spiritual nurture of their children. At Trinity, we seek to come alongside parents, enabling and equipping them for this God-given role. The children's classes and other programs for children provide take-home materials to encourage parents to interact with their children over Scripture and the lesson content.
Everyone at Trinity who works with children loves kids. We provide a fun & safe learning environment for children to recognize their need for Jesus Christ and the salvation that is found in Him alone. We believe that children are happiest and most satisfied when they understand that God created them for His glory and pleasure, and that God seeks us out to have a relationship with Him.
Our Sunday morning Bible Study is an essential time of Bible training where children learn basic Bible stories and learn to connect all them to the plan of redemption God is bringing about in Christ Jesus. We have children's classes for all ages.
Sunday School - 9:45AM Sundays (year round)
AWANA, our Wednesday evening program for children, is known for its strong emphasis on Scripture memory and gospel-centered resources. Our purpose with the AWANA program is to lead children to trust in Jesus Christ and develop a vibrant relationship with Him. Children love the club atmosphere, game time, and opportunities to progress through the material and earn awards.
